    Hi! Welcome to Meet Your Teacher Page. Here is a little information about myself.

    I graduated from of North Central College, Naperville, IL. with a bachelors degree in Biology. For the next five years I worked in a hospital laboratory in South Bend, IN. I went back to school at Valparaiso University to earn my teachers license. I taught in the South Bend Community School Corporation at LaSalle High School for three years. In 1998, I moved to this area and accepted a job here at Hobart Middle School. I have taught 7th and 8th grade science, 6th grade science, and since 2001 I have been teaching PLTW and I love it! In addition, in 2010 I completed my Masters in Education.

    I enjoy spending my free time with my 18 year old daughter and working on my house and garden. One of our favorite things to do is fly to Oregon to visit with my brother. We love to hike and camp in the mountains out west.
