The Hobart High School Baseball program is proud to announce that senior shortstop, Tyler Kenjic, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball on a scholarship at Purdue University Calumet! Purdue Calumet is located here locally in Hammond, IN with an enrollment of around 10,000 students. The Peregrine's are part of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (NAIA).
Tyler has been a standout player for the Brickies during all 4 years of High School, starting all 4 years. As a Junior he was voted by his coaches and teammates as the team's Defensive MVP. He was also selected as Honorable Mention All Area and All Northwest Crossroads Conference. He is ranked among the top 30 infielders in Indiana's Class of 2016 by Prep Baseball Report. On top off all of these achievements, Tyler has worked hard academically to achieve this opportunity to play for a collegiate baseball team. Great job Tyler and best of luck in the future! |
