    Who am I?  
         I am Mrs. Bourne the LRE Teacher here at Ridge View. I work with all the grade levels.
    How long have I been here? 
         This is my seventh year here at Ridge View and I love it!
    Tell us a little bit about yourself:
          I am happily married and have one son. We have a house full of pets.  We have 2 indoor cats, Clowey and Asiline, and two dogs, Coco and Katie. I have lived in many different places being that my father was in the Air Force.  I was born in Florida, then we moved to Texas, Illinois, then to Merrilliville where I Graduated from. I am currently living in, Hobart. I attended Indiana University Northwest where I received my Degree in Education.  
         I have also traveled to Arizona, Mexico, Canada, Aruba and Key West for some of my vacations.  I hope to one day be able to travel to Ireland and the Bahamas.
         All of my work experience has been with children.   I started out babysitting when I was 13, when I was 16 I started working for Good Shepherd Daycare in Merrillville, and worked their though most of my college life.  I have also done some Nanny work. All I can even remember saying when I was a child was that I wanted to be a teacher!
    What do I enjoy doing?
    I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I love the summer because I can go to the pool, beach, or just be outside!
