• What kinds of Test/Exams do students take?

    • Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI)
    • rSkills Test
    • Scholastic Reading Counts (SRC Book Quiz)  
     
    How often do they take these Test/Exams?
     
    1. SRI
    • Is given at the beginning of the school year to determine the student's reading lexile. It is also given every 9 weeks within the school year to track students growth. The last SRI Test is given at the end of the school year. This test is given on computers. It is also scored by Scholastic. 
    2. rSkills Test
    • Is given every time a teacher finishes teaching a workshop. A workshop can be finished anywhere between 5-8 weeks. This test is given on computers.It is also scored by Scholastic.  
     3. SRC Book Quiz
    • Students are allowed to take a book quiz on the computer every time a student finishes reading a READ180 book within their current lexile. Time can vary depending on the students lexile.
