• Welcome Mouseketeers!

Welcome to the wonderful world of learning!  This is my 17th year at Liberty Elementary, and I am just as excited as I was my first year.  In this world today, I feel very fortunate to have job that I truly love.  Teaching first grade is amazing.  I love watching them grow as readers and writers!  This summer, I spent time learning new techniques for reading, math and spelling instruction.  I am very eager to begin the year so that I can share all the things I learned with my class.
Chris and I welcomed two sons into our lives, Elijah and Jonah.  Each day they amaze me with a new talent or skill that they have mastered. They have brought a new meaning to life that I still can’t explain in words.  They are my everything!

Preparing for the upcoming school year during the summer is necessary, but I also managed to squeeze a little fun into my days!  I spent this whole summer playing with Eli and Jonah, and I loved every minute.  We even were adventurous and went to the zoo, Deep River Waterpark, the 49er Drive In, and a family vacation to Iowa.
If you take a look around my classroom, you will notice that I have a deep love for Disney.  I am excited to incorporate this into our classroom.  I have been fortunate enough to travel to Disney World many times.  Each time I am there, I'm filled with a feeling of excitement and wonder.  I believe that anything is possible, and that dreams really do come true.  I want to capture those feelings this year, and transfer them to the students.  This year is going to be a magical journey and I am excited for it to begin.!

    HAVE A MAGICAL DAY!
