Hi! My name is Cristina Bullington, and this is my 9th year teaching here in Hobart. I spent my first four years at Ridge View and then made the move to Joan Martin. It is a wonderful school to work at, and I am so happy to be here.

 

I have been a Hobart resident all of my life! I went to Mundell Elementary, Hobart Middle School, and graduated from Hobart High School in 2000.  After high school, I attended Indiana University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.  After a few years in the workforce, I decided to go back to school to earn my Teaching License.  I am so happy I made this decision, because I absolutely LOVE my job!  I graduated with my Master's Degree in Education from IUN.

 

My husband and I have been together for 13 years and we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Emma Therese, on April 3rd, 2009.  She is an amazing little girl that teaches me new things every day.  She is in 2nd grade right here at Joan Martin!! On September 23rd, 2014 we welcomed our 3rd daughter, Lyla Rue.  She has been a rainbow after the storm of losing our middle daughter Ally 3 years ago.  

 

One of my favorite things to do is run.  I enjoy participating in Races even though I am not very fast! It is also such a great work-out and stress buster.  The best part about them is that they are a lot of fun too!
