Kindergarteners library sessions are a terrific opportunity to for them to learn about different types of literature. We are focusing on building the skills that will support them as they learn to read. The library has a variety of sections aimed to support your child wherever he or she is in her reading level. Current picture books are offered for their check out. These are great books that are popular now and are books for someone at home to read to your child. There is also a display of books for seasonal topics as well as a selection of books that your child should be able to start recognizing or reading entirely on their own. We also focus on fiction versus non-fiction in our stories, interacting with text and having fun discovering through stories.
