As different as our children are, so are their learning styles. Howard Gardner identifies 9 multiple intelligences. It is tricky to teach a classroom of children one lesson and expect every one of them to have it mastered. In our 1st grade classroom, we will use many methods in our learning. We all possess each intelligence, yet we have different strengths and weaknesses.
