Social Media Participation Policy

The School City of Hobart uses social media to share information about our schools and staff with the community that supports us. We encourage dialogue and discussion on our Facebook page, but ask that courtesy and civility be used in all exchanges and postings. SCOH reserves the right to delete or block any posts that promote a commercial product or business, are patently offensive, obscene, or malicious, or that attack individuals, programs or students, or violate privacy. In short, please play nice. If you have an issue with an employee, policy, or program of the district, you are encouraged to deal directly with an administrator. If you believe someone has violated the terms of the social media policy, please contact the SCOH Central Office at (219) 942-8885 Ext. 1.
