    The School City of Hobart Early Learning Center is focused on Hobart's youngest citizens. The district is committed to providing opportunities for learning from the very beginnings of life!

    It provides a special school for important early childhood programs in one building. The Early Learning Center is home to Parents As Teachers, Ready Set Go Preschool Network, Early Childhood Development classes, and Full-day Kindergarten.

    Our preschool program is located in Hobart High School and is part of our Early 
    Childhood Education Careers Program for juniors and seniors. Students learn hands-on experiences with the children as well as how to prepare lesson plans and classroom activity centers.

    Early Childhood Development

    Our ECD preschool classrooms meet the needs of three and four year old students with disabilities. It prepares the students for kindergarten. Students learn academics, self-help skills, and social skills.
