    Career & Technical curriculum is based on the Indiana Academic Science Standards, College, Career Readiness standards (CCR),  and the Common Core Literacy Standards.

     

     
    Career & Technical Curriculum are composed of the following courses at Hobart Middle School;
    Business Courses: 
    • 6th Grade: Computer Technology
    • 7th Grade: Digital Media
    • 8th Grade: Personal Finance 
    Gateway to Technology / Pre-Engineering Courses:
     
    These courses follow the national curriculum designed by Project Lead the Way. These are foundational courses for student at Hobart Middle School.  These courses allow students to be introduced to careers in engineering as well as prepare for the high school PLTW engineering courses. 
    • Modeling & Design
    • Science of Technology
    • Automation & Robotics

    Family and Consumer Science:

    FACS courses at Hobart Middle School are reflect the Indiana Academic Standards, Common Core Literacy Standards, as well as the College & Career Readiness Standards (CCR)
