• About Me

I graduated from Merrillville High School in 1994. After high school, I attended Indiana University Bloomington where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry.  I worked as a chemist for four years at Baxter Healthcare and Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute. I earned my teaching license from Indiana University Northwest. I am licensed in biology, chemistry, and physics. I taught one year at East Chicago Central High School and three years at Valparaiso High School. This will be my first year at Hobart High School.

I have three kids, Carson, Tyler, and Abigail. We love to play sports, play outside, and just spending time with family! In what little time I have left to myself in a day, I love to run!

I am excited to be here and to share my passion for science and learning with my students!
