A Message from the Principal
As we begin a new school year, let me begin by expressing my gratitude at being given the opportunity to continue to serve this great community. I am humbled by the trust placed in me and am eager for the school year to begin.
This is my 10th year at Hobart High School. I spent my first three years as an English teacher, four years as an Assistant Principal, and the last two year years in the Principal position.
This school year will begin with a continued focus on College and Career Readiness and an emphasis on work ethic and professional skills. As a school community, preparing students for life after high school means more than just earning a diploma. It means students are equipped with the necessary skills to be successful in the workplace. It means students have a plan for the future. It means that students have found their purpose and are ready to make this world a better place.
I am excited about this school year and thrilled to be a part of a school community with so many opportunities for students. I am a firm believer in the importance of building positive relationships with students, helping them find their purpose, and guiding them to reach their full potential. I am confident that the staff at Hobart High School will work hard to provide all students with a solid foundation for the future.
Here’s to a great 2017-2018 school year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Patrick
