Hobart Girls Varsity volleyball team hosted their annual Hobart Invite this past Saturday. The girls played great in the morning taking first in their pool. They defeated Hammond High School, Calumet High School, and Boone Grove High School. In the Championship match they met up with Wheeler High School once again and fell in two sets against the Bearcats. Leaders in kills were Caylie Pruitt and Jessica Parlock. Gina Lamertine and Lori Vasquez led in assists. Head Coach Mrs. Verbich was pleased with the girls overall performance and looks forward to a great week as the ladies take on River Forest, Valparaiso, and Highland.
