    What is Visual Effects?
     
    Visual effects are alterations made to a flilm's image.  These alterations are done after the film has already been shot and exposed or produced.  The term post-production refers to the process of adding effects after the production ie. the filming, has already been completed.
     
    My degree taught me how to use the tools from aplications such as; Photoshop, After Effects, Shake, Final Cut Pro, and more to create alterations to filmed footage.
