    Artifact 1:  First Chair America was a "who's-who" publication recognizing the first chair musicians from outstanding programs.  The link contains copies of the pages that were specific to the 1946 Hobart Band.

    Artifact 2:  This was a clinic and performance presentation given by the Hobart Band at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in December of 1949.

    Artifact 15: Contains correspondence with Howard Hanson, Edwin Franko Goldman, and Percy Grainger.  Much of it after the Hobart Band Tour where the band performed at Julliard and Eastman schools of music.

    Artifact 19:  Minutes from the Hobart Band Mothers Association (booster group), 1945-1952.  Frederick Ebbs and Richard Worthington were the band directors during that period.  This is a very large file and may take some time to load before viewing.
