=================================================================================================4/7/2015 - Lady Brickies 7- Griffith 1Amanda Sandilla and Maddy Adams each had a home run as your Lady Brickies continue their winning ways. Maddy Adams pitched all 7 innings giving up only 1 run. The girls seem to be getting a little bit more disciplined at the plate and swinging at their pitch instead of the pitchers pitch. Good job by all throughout the contest. JV also won their game 29-6. Keep your foot on the gas ladies.

Falling behind 5-1 in the 3rd, the Lady Brickies fought back but just couldn't get the timely hits they needed to pull out the victory. Maddy Adams and Hope Messina were 1 for 3 at the plate and Abby Brownfield pitched all 7 innings. Coach Wright is very pleased with the girls defensively, but at the plate the girls lacked discipline. I am very proud of the girls and the way they reacted to all the hype. Our JV team won in a real nail-biter 5-4. Great job girls. The lady Brickies officially started their 2015 season with a scrimmage against South Bend St. Joe. Each team brought 44 batters to the plate which was a four inning contest. St. Joe drew first blood going up 2-0 before holding the Brickies scoreless in their half of the first. St. Joe scored again in second and got one more before the Brickies bats lit up and tied it up after two innings. Both teams scored one more in the third inning. In the fourth St. Joe got 3 more but the lady Brickies fought back and tied up the game with still an opportunity to pull it out with two outs and runners on second and third, but we couldn't get that timely hit and left the ballpark in a tie.
