Kerrigan Horn is a shining star! She recently went to Indianapolis to compete in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) State Competition. This competition was not about sports or music, but about Miss Horn's vocational, Health Occupations! She competed in 3 events this year: forensic science, medical law and ethics, and medical innovations. With over 1,200 members competing in this annual HOSA event, Miss Kerrigan Horn placed in the TOP 10 for the State in 2 out of her 3 events! Both medical law and ethics and medical innovations wowed the attendees and she came back with 2 state qualifying ribbons. What an outstanding accomplishment! There is no doubt great things will come from this Brickie!
On top of this she also recently accepted and signed with MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL.This is a 4-year private institution. She received direct admission into their School of Nursing program and will minor in psychology. She also signed with the Highlander softball program that competes with the SLIAC conference.
