December 7th-13th students across the School City of Hobart and the world participate in Computer Science Education Week and the Hour of Code. The week is dedicated to getting children interested in careers in computer science and coding. To celebrate and learn how much you can do with computer science, students of all ages went on to code.org and played one of the websites many coding games. Whether they are programming droids and creating their very own Star Wars game in a galaxy, combating ogres to learn Python, or helping Anna and Elsa explore the magic and beauty of ice - there is a program for everyone at every age! Our Brickies always have a great time during this week and love exploring what computers can do for them. See below for photos from the week and check out the link to our own Hour of Code page!
